Maine's requirements for converting a mobile home to real property are relatively informal and based solely on how sufficiently affixed the mobile home is to the underlying real property.
Affixation
Maine requires that a mobile home becoming sufficiently affixed to real property so as to qualify as a fixture. See Hartford National Bank & Trust Co. v. Harvey, 420 A.2d 230, 234 (Me. 1980).
