Below is a list of currently know announcements regarding courthouse closures nationwide in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus.

The county has shut down its recording offices. No further recordings will be processed until further notice.

Massachusetts

Barnstable

Registry is open for recordings only. No closings at the Registry or title research.

Berkshire Middle

building is closed but accepting recordings at the front door. They are e-recording.

Berkshire North

is open-normal hours

is open-normal hours

Bristol Fall River

Bristol North

beginning March 19th will not permit closings in their main office in Taunton or the satellite office in Attleboro. They are open to e-recording and encourage it. On their website they have listed more information.

Hampden Registry of Deeds

Pennsylvania

Bucks

Bucks County is currently open. The Recorder is encouraging people to use online resources rather than come into the office for searching purposes if possible.

Lancaster

The Recorder of Deeds is open but will be restricting in-person recording to a drop-off procedure. Source: [1]

Montgomery

The Assessment and Treasurer Offices as well as the Courts are open. The Recorder’s office has suspended its public and title search areas effective Friday, March 13 but remains open.

Westmoreland

The County offices are currently open but is asking the public to conduct business over the internet or through the mail.
