Regional Exceptions
Also called the "Western Regional Exceptions", these are a modified version of the national exceptions that are commonly used in California and other Western States. All of these exceptions can be removed from an Owner's or Loan Policy based on paying for Extended Coverage in accordance with the WFG California State Rate Manual. (Section 4.1.2 for Loan Policies in the 2020 Rate Manual). For 1-4 Family SFR properties, the Regional Exceptions can be removed at no extra charge provided that existing institutional financing is being refinanced. (Section 4.5.1).
