Maine real property transactions primary use Warranty Deeds.

Types

The most common form of Deed in Maine is a Warranty Deed, which is usually titled as a Warranty Deed. Quit‐Claim Deeds are also available but are used primary for transfers of commercial property.

Marital Status

It is neither customary nor required to state the marital status on deeds for either party to the transaction.
